    Chicago-area fitness buff on upcoming 'Survivor' She can sell you on a cute top, but can Kelly Czarnecki wangle her way to $1 million on "Survivor"? The 22-year-old fashionista from Buffalo Grove was revealed Wednesday as one of the 18 cutthroats competing on "Survivor: Gabon -- Earth's Last Eden." The new "Survivor" season, shot in an African wilderness, debuts Sept. 25 on WBBM-Channel 2.

    Britney Spears won't sing on this year's MTV Video Music Awards, her manager says. ''Contrary to media reports, Britney was never slated to perform on this year's VMAs,'' said Larry Rudolph, Spears' manager at Jive Records. ''She's in the middle of recording her next album ... and her focus remains on the studio.''
